健康的景观给予人类众多益处,但会因各种人为的开发而受到威胁。可持续的基地应尽量降低因开发对环境带来的不良影响,并恢复已受侵扰的景观。
基地的注意事项
- 水 – 通过减少不透水层表面来截留、减缓及处理雨水,创造雨水花园、绿化屋顶、生物沼泽和湿地。
- 土壤 – 通过减少土地划分、板结压土和原生植破坏,以保护和保存优质的土壤。
- 植被 –保存和回复原有的植树,并引入适合当地气候的非入侵性的原生植被。
合理地安置与管理植被,以降低潜在的火灾风险。在冬季可用于遮挡寒风,在温暖季节则可对建筑物外墙、步道和硬质地面起到遮阳作用。
